Marc Gascoigne, Head of Black Industries, said, “This is the best edition of Talisman we have ever produced. It’s the return of a genuine classic fantasy game and I’m proud to be announcing its comeback. The gameplay is based on the very best aspects of the previous editions, but with added extras such as the all new speedy play rules written by the legendary Rick Priestley. The game looks fantastic, with fabulous new artwork. I know fans old and new will love this edition.

Warmachine & Hordes : THRALL HARVEST EVENT
|
| Posted by travis on 12/9/2007 13:58:30 (79 reads) |

What is a Thrall Harvest?
A Thrall Harvest is an event using a Warmachine or Hordes tournament in order to raise canned goods for a local food pantry. During the winter holiday season, food pantries supplies tend to run low on food while the demand increases. This is a wonderful opportunity for miniature gamers to give back to community while bashing some metal in the process.
A Thrall Harvest uses something called Foodmachine style. This format allows players to make canned good donations in mid-game to change in-game effects. An example is donating a canned good to re-roll a die or to add an extra focus to your warcaster during the maintainence phase. This format adds a twist to an already fantastic game. It helps motivate people to bring in more cans, which to be honest, is sort of the whole point. I mean, who doesn’t want a 11 focus Harbinger?
So you’re interested in running one of these events? Check out the Organizing an Event on how to set up this unique event.
Good luck, and remember:
Donate like you got a pair!
