 Normally, i dont touch on the comic business here on the front page of the wizards wall but i figured i would let a few people know whats going on in the world of comics to help with people christmas gifts and to talk about some of the cool things going on.
MARVEL
SECRET INVASION: Issue 8 is finally here. The end is really well thought out it. It does tie into the new storyline DARK REIGN that will be hitting the streets early January. However, it also has a neat twist and bring a alot of excitement to comics. (great christmas gift since its all out and we have all the issues in stock.)
Amazing Spider-Man: I know, I know. Brand New Day sucks. I agree, i have yet to see the we need to get rid of Mary Jane. However, this is classic spider-man. This is why we love him and why is around. We now have seen the return of a few of the older villains Shocker and Hammerhead. As well as a some new villans like anti-venom and mr negitive.
Other Highly recommended books: Invincible Iron Man, New Warriors, Thor, Iron Fist
DC
BATMAN! RIP!!: Grant Morrison has done some crazy stuff with batman and to get the full idea of everything he did you should read the whol run. However, killing him off was a shocker to alot of people.....or is he dead? There is alot of twist and turns in this book. (great christmas gift because we have it all in stock)
FINAL CRISIS: This has been slow going lots of huge things happening like the death of martian manhunter, dr light and a the stopping all of the trinity from being able to get involved. Also Darkseid is the villain. I mean come on that cool.
Green Arrow: I hate Judd Winick!! Let em start out by saying that. He always starts out strong and then ends with this guy is gay or this girl has aids. HOWEVER, this green arrow run is really amazing. It has really kept me guessing issue by issue and making me start to forgive judd winick and his agenda pushing. I really recommend trying that out.

INDY BOOKS
Doctor Who: The Forgotten : So, we have awhile till the first special comes out here in america. However, while we wait we have we have the forgotten. This is a great mini series that goes threw the lives of the doctor and helps us get to know him better.
Umbrella Academy: God Save the President: Gerald Way really surprised me when he put out the first umbrella academy and they second one is off to a good start. (the first one is in trade in stock)
Buffy: 23 issues in and still going strong. This series is so much fun and a very fun ride. If you are a joss whedon fan pick up season 8.
